Yes, most of the time it does. Some magazine advertisements are useful to me because I have used them before. The advertisements I don't like are like president and governor ones, they are annoying and full of lies. Some things on TV that people are trying to sell are sometimes useful and most of the time they are usually selling a bunch of JUNK. But advertising can be beneficial to companies and charities trying to make or raise a little money.

I don't know what the deal is with the server. I tried to open up www.creativewritingprompts.com and it just wouldn't connect to the website. I wanted to get an idea off the site so I had something good and creative to write about. Instead I am writing about something totally boring but I don't really care as long as I get my daily participation points.

It's Thursday and the weekend is coming fast. I got tomorrow off work so all I can say is PARTY. It's a good thing that I don't have to be to work until noon on Saturday.

I THINK THAT MAKING STUDENTS DO MANDATORY COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS TO GRADUATE IS A BUNCH OF CRAP. WHAT DID THE STUDENTS DO TO EVERYBODY ELSE THAT MAKES THEM HAVE TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE. IF ANYBODY IS GOING TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE IT NEEDS TO BE THE PEOPLE IN JAIL OR VOLUNTEERS. I AM NOT AFRAID TO VOLUNTEER EVERY NOW AND THEN TO HELP OUT THE COMMUNITY BUT I WILL NOT DO IT FORCEFULLY. I WOULD RATHER DROP OUT AND NOT GRADUATE THAN DO WORK THAT I AM FORCED TO DO WITHOUT GETTING PAID. I BELIEVE THAT MY PARENTS WOULD ALSO BE AGAINST IT TOO.

IF SOMEONE IS SITTING IN JAIL BECAUSE THEY SPRAY-PAINTED A WALL THEY SHOULD BE THE PEOPLE CLEANING THE MESS UP, NOT SOME INNOCENT STUDENT THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. WHOEVER IS MAKING THIS LAW OR BILL OR WHATEVER IT IS TO DO THIS TO US MUST BE A FUN HATER, I BET ITS A COP OR SOME OLD POLITICIAN THAT THINKS TEENAGERS ARE NO GOOD AND THEY DESERVE TO DO IT ANYWAYS.

I have no idea what to blog about.

I've been fur trapping since last Saturday and its going pretty good. I'm up to 53 Coon, 1 coyote, and 4 possum. I don't want the possum because they have no value but I kill them anyways. Coon is what I mainly go for, they bring the most money. Coyote bring good money too but they are a lot of work to skin. I got the day off work Saturday so I'm gonna sell part of the coon hides. I sell the hides at Wapsi Furs in Quaski. I hope I get a nice check because Comley and I have put a lot of work into trapping this season and it would be nice to get some good money.

"One day at school, your teacher comes into the classroom, places a box on the floor, and leaves the room. Suddenly, the box begins to move. Write a story about what happens next."

She was 12 minutes late. She came into class once again with that raggedy old sweater but this she had something in her hands. It was a box. She walks with that creepy old limp up to the front of the room. Standing 5 foot tall she is not a pretty sight. She takes the small box and sets it on the floor in the front of the room and proceeds to the door. As she is walking at the door she turns around with a small smirk on her face. After she exits the class sits and wonders. The class sat for about 7 minutes all alone and out of nowhere they heard a thump. It was the box the box was starting to move more and more until finally...................... a bunny pops out.

2. Who cares he never liked you anyways!
3. I don't blame him for dumping you, I wouldn't go out with you either!

Entry 11

Once upon a time there was a congenial duck. This duck was always ecstatic to see his friends. The only problems were that he was aloof from them because he lived so far away. He was always very tedious in trying to cajole his friends into flying out to his place. He was zealous in always seeing his friends but he was ominous to fly during hunting season. He decided that he will get up early in the morning and fly to his friends before the hunters get out. So he will just have to be an ennui's lonely duck until tomorrow.

Persuade someone not to eat fast food.

Well I would never do this because I would be a hypocrite. Fast food is good even though it may be unhealthy. Fast food is my lunch at least once a week if not more. I think its up to parents to teach their kids healthy food choices at a young age.

This week is homecoming week. I have done nothing to participate just because I don't really care. I am going to the dance though. I am taking two girls, Chris and Alison, I'm gonna be like a big pimp. Whats funny is that I'm wearing all camouflage. I went to Dick's Sporting Goods and found some camouflage dress clothes. I'm probably gonna be broke by Sunday, oh well. I hope we win the football game even though I won't be there, I gotta work.

I strongly agree with this quote. I think that almost anyone who gets a welfare check doesn't need it. I think that they need to quit being lazy and get a job. What kind of person are you if you can't keep yourself alive and functioning by yourself. But instead you let the government do it for you. Nobody in this whole world would need a welfare check if they weren't lazy. GET A JOB it's very easy. The same goes for most homeless people. Quit living on the streets and begging off everybody that walks by. I know some people can't get a job because they don't have a home but they at least need to make some money somehow and get a place to live. I think one of a homeless person's problems is that they have addictions. They need to lay off the alcohol and drugs and they would have more money.

September 16th Entry 6

City Curfew

I don't think our town needs a curfew on high school students. People should be able to be out at whatever time they want. Its called freedom people, we should get to come and go whenever we please. Things that need curfews are cops. Cops should be out of town by eight-o-clock. With cops out of town it will make life more fun. They can stay on duty all night they just need to stay at the office eating doughnuts and drinking coffee. (This reminds me of when I was in florida I had seen a cop at the Dunkin Doughnuts drive-thru.)

I am a sock. I am a clean sock. There is something wrong though, I am in the hamper. I don't know what my owner is thinking. He must be on something I was in his dresser and he just took me out and threw me in the dirty clothes pile. I don't know if he has a problem with me or what but he needs to say it to my face, instead of throwing me in with the dirty clothes. I am not a happy sock right now. I feel physically and emotionally hurt. I hope when he gets home from school he realizes the mistake he's made and puts me back in the dresser with my matching sock partner.

Can failure lead to success or is failure simply its own experience?

I think that failure can lead to success. If you make a mistake you will learn from it and if you try again to get it wright you may find success instead of failure. This can portray to a game where if your lose your lives you are able to restart the game and try again for success.

August 31 Entry 3

I'm not quite sure what to write about because I didn't pay attention very well. I did over hear something about schools wanting to make high-school five years long. I think my vote for that would be NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, N.O. THAT SPELLS NO, that is a very bad idea. Why do schools want to do this. From pre-school to 12th grade 14 years of school is already too much. I think school should be shorter. I like what they had in the old days, you can graduate at 8th grade, that sounds better to me.

My Utopian World

My Utopian world would have no cities or towns. I strongly dislike them. Everyone would live off the land and be responsible for themselves. There would not be any sort of transportation, just your own two feet. There would be guns though because they are just awesome. There would be no such thing as a tree huger, everyone would eat meat. Nobody lives in a house in my Utopia, you live under the stars.

2nd part,

If someone was suffering because of my Utopia, I would tell them to live with the rules of my Utopia or die.

August 23, Entry 1

Goals I have this year for all my classes.

The first goal I have is simple: Get better grades than I did last year. I need to spend more time studying this year. Last year I barely studied at all and I just didn't care. I still don't really care that much, but even though I don't, I am still gonna work harder on my schoolwork than I did last year.

This summer was pretty fun. It was by far the most fun summer I've ever had. My summer consisted of work, partying, and having a lot of other fun. I spent a lot of money too and I kinda wish I hadn't but oh well it was worth it.
